What to Expect

What to Expect

We have Sunday School for children and adults during the school year, join us at 9:15 am! Join us at 10:30 am for Corporate Worship to experience what we’re about!

When and where is the worship service? We worship at 10:30 am on Sundays in the main sanctuary at 851 Fairview Terrace in White River Junction, Vermont.

How should I dress? We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. Some people dress somewhat casually while others dress up a little. The building is air-conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter, layers may help you adjust from the cold temperatures outside.

What do I do when I get there?  In the lobby is a welcome table with more information to help you get oriented. Before entering the sanctuary you will be greeted and handed a church program as a guide to that day's service.

What happens during the gathering? The church program will give you an idea of what to expect during our time together. We’ll give some simple instructions throughout the service to let you know when to stand or sit. We will sing, pray, read God's Word, and hear a message meant to explain and apply a passage from Scripture.

We want you to enjoy your time with us so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like. The service usually lasts about 75 minutes. We would love for you to hang around for a little while after the service. Many people will hang around and talk after the service, while others will meet in smaller groups throughout the week.

Are children welcome? We welcome children of all ages. Currently, childcare is available for children 0-4 during the worship service. For more information check out our Childcare page.

What about Sunday School? We have Sunday school classes at 9:15 am for all ages (except during summer months and holidays). After Sunday school, there is a brief coffee time to get to know one another better before the worship service begins.
